Virtual Assistance U™
is a Virtual learning campus dedicated to establishing "leading
edge" virtual assistant practices through dynamic curriculum,
small classes and diversified participant experience levels.
It has long
been known that people are visually oriented. How many
times have you heard, "A picture is worth a thousand words?"
It is true. The same applies to any conveyance of thought
or idea. People remember more of what they see.
When presenting an idea to an
audience, using visuals can hold their attention up to 30 times
longer. Even more important, the audience will retain 3
times the amount of information for up to 10 times longer than
an audio only presentation.
This applies to lessons in life,
lessons in the classroom and lessons at VAU™.
VAU™ classes are conducted online in real time, voice
interactive, and virtual classrooms that allow for interaction by
all participants.
This technology is available
even to the slowest dialup connection with crystal clear
transmission. Our teams from around the world access the
classroom from anyplace they choose. The VAU™ Learning
Leaders are part of the Jordan Group.
Laptops or Desktops work equally well. We
even have classroom technology that will work in an internet
cafe. These are the tools of our potential clients and we
need to stay on top of our game.
Audio visuals are implemented
to reinforce the audio interaction. Tactile learners may
also print out the slides from our private intranet or from the
screen as we go on internet tours and make notes as desired.
All slides are available in the intranet for follow up viewing along with
supplemental resources and documentation.
We don't provide a printed manual with outdated information,
because our password protected intranet resources are constantly
updated to provide you with leading edge, "just in time" information. As a
result, VAU™ graduates enjoy lifetime access to the intranet area
and support team
for information that always sets them apart in this industry.
The late, Janet L. Jordan™, MVA,
was the co-founder, lead
trainer and VAU™ visionary. She spent five
years with Jostens Learning Corporation, a recognized leader in
educational software and training. As a trainer,
consultant and management team member she made a difference in
the lives of thousands of youngsters across America. Her
efforts were recognized when she won the coveted "National
Computer Learning Month" cash and recognition award.
Her work with the Harlandale ISD in the suburbs of San Antonio,
TX, was nationally recognized by hundreds of peer educational
consultants as well as the Jostens Management Team, with a
generous cash award for
excellence in computer learning.

We believe
